Population: This workshop is designed for educators and support staff in grades 6-12.
Outcomes: The objectives of this workshop are:
Learn how teachers can use multimedia to aid instruction.
Identify what technologies can be used to facilitate learning.
Learn how to guide students in problem-based learning.
Gap: Many of the individuals participating in this workshop are familiar with many of the 21st century technology tools, but are not sure on how to incorporate them effectively in their classrooms. In this workshop, individuals will learn how multimedia can aid instruction, identify what technologies are the most effective to facilitate learning, and how to guide their students in problem-based learning activities that will engage the learning and make learning more meaningful.
